Data Deletion Instructions; Monixpad (Loan & Scholarship)
Overview
At Monixpad we take your privacy seriously. If you signed in or connected with Facebook and want us to remove your Monixpad account or any personal data we hold about you, you have two options:
- Remove our app from your Facebook account (this prevents Monixpad from receiving any further Facebook data).
- Submit a data deletion request to Monixpad so we can delete or anonymize any personal data we have stored.
Where applicable, Monixpad will promptly delete or permanently anonymize your personal data from our systems once your request is verified. If we cannot delete something immediately (for example backups or records we are legally required to keep), we will let you know and retain only what is necessary for the shortest lawful period.
If you use Facebook to sign in: you can both remove app access in Facebook and request deletion of the Monixpad account and related data on our site (instructions below).
How to remove Monixpad from your Facebook account (quick stops further sharing)
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Choose Apps and Websites (left menu) → click Active.
- Find Monixpad in the list and click Remove.
- Optionally, when prompted, choose the checkbox to also delete posts, photos or other content the app may have posted on your behalf.
This stops new data from being shared with Monixpad via Facebook. (If you want the data stored at Monixpad deleted, continue to the next step.)
How to request deletion of your Monixpad account and personal data
You can ask us to delete all data we hold about you (account, profile, messages, application records, linked Facebook info). To request deletion:
Option A : Automated (recommended):
- Go to your Monixpad account settings → Delete Account (or: [Account Deletion Page URL — replace with your URL]).
- Follow the on-screen steps to confirm deletion. We will send a confirmation to your registered email and a status link where you can track progress.
Option B — Manual / Email request:
Email us at customercare@monixpad.com with:
- Subject: Data Deletion Request — [Your Full Name / Monixpad username / email]
- In the body: confirm the account email/username and the Facebook App ID or Facebook-connected email (if you used Facebook login).
We will verify the request and delete or anonymize your data. Expect a confirmation email with a deletion confirmation code and a status URL.
What we delete: account profile, application forms, saved scholarship/loan preferences, messages and notes associated with your account, and any other personally-identifying data collected for the Monixpad service. Some aggregated or anonymized metrics that can’t be tied to you personally may be retained for analytics.
Timeframe: After we verify your request we will delete or permanently anonymize your personal data within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law. If deletion will take longer we will notify you and explain why. (We process Facebook-initiated deletion requests promptly; see callback details below.)
Facebook App / GDPR: What Monixpad supports
If you use Facebook login, Facebook may send Monixpad a Data Deletion Request when you remove our app or when you request deletion through Facebook’s tools. We support both:
- Data Deletion Instructions URL (this page): If you prefer Facebook to direct users here, Facebook reviewers will read these instructions and follow them to request deletion from us manually.
- Data Deletion Callback (recommended for automated flow): We also support (or can implement) an HTTPS endpoint that Facebook calls to initiate deletion. Our callback will start deletion and return a JSON payload with a status URL and confirmation code so Facebook can show the user a progress link. (See the exact required JSON format below.)
What we may ask to verify your identity
To prevent unauthorized deletion of accounts, we may require one or more of:
- Confirmation via the account email address on file.
- Matching a Facebook app-scoped ID or other token if the request originated from Facebook.
We will never ask you to share passwords.

If you believe Monixpad has not completed a deletion request you submitted via Facebook or directly, contact our Data Protection Officer at customercare@monixpad.com or send a ticket at https://monixpad.com/support. If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact your local data protection authority.
Notes for Facebook App Review (copy for App Notes)

- We also provide a Data Deletion Callback endpoint at: https://monixpad.com/facebook-data-deletion-callback, this endpoint accepts Facebook’s signed request and immediately initiates user data deletion. The endpoint returns JSON with a status tracking URL and an alphanumeric confirmation code, per Meta requirements.
