Why Apply for College Scholarships?
At Tarleton State University, we believe financial support should never stop anyone from chasing their dreams. Each year, about 80% of students receive some form of financial aid, including over $12 million in scholarships from Tarleton and other private sources.
Our goal is to help students discover, apply for, and manage scholarship opportunities easily — making college education more affordable and valuable for everyone.
How to Apply for Scholarships
If you plan to enroll for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026 semesters, please complete the 2025–2026 Academic Year Scholarship Application.
Once you submit your online application, our system will automatically match you with scholarships that fit your qualifications — so there’s no need to apply for each one individually.
The application opens every year on August 1, and you must have an active student admission and ID to log in.
It’s best to apply early, as many awards are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
⏰ Scholarship Application Deadlines
To be considered for over 600 scholarship opportunities, make sure to submit your general application before these dates:
- Priority Deadline for Next Academic Year: February 15
- Spring Priority Deadline: December 1
- Early Consideration for Next Academic Year: December 1
Applying before these deadlines gives you the best chance to receive scholarship support.
